While She Sleeps - The North Stands For Nothing [2010]

Eh. I'm not sure how I feel about this. It's metalcore that so badly wants to be taken as hardcore. Architects doing Defeater. I know, it sounds like it could be cool, but you forget that the Architects are still involved sooooooo yeah. Vocalist is really good though as well as their drummer.

Ion Dissonance - Cursed [2010]

I don't even like this band that much. I would rather listen to DEP any day of the week, month or year, but they've got a new song on this album that is pretty good. If they could just control their dissonance they would be worth the listen half the time.

Called To Arms - Peril and the Patient [2010]

omg it's metalcore! No but seriously this is pretty wicked. BTBAM without the noodling and over-exaggerated wankery. Progressive, ugh, never mind I'm calling anything that people would perceive as progressive "extensive" now because prog in metalcore is kind of a joke.
